Pièce de résistance - is a French term (circa 1839), translated into English literally as "piece of resistance", referring to the best part or feature of something (as in a meal), a showpiece, or highlight. It can be thought of as the portion of a creation which defies (i.e. "resists") orthodox or common conventions and practices, thereby making the whole of the creation unique and special. Piecederesistance.info is a website founded on the idea of this term's definition. We push, urge and outright beg you to open your minds, your hearts and your eyes. Our hope is that it will be a piece of, or a catalyst for the masses participation in this revolution. We all live on this planet together and will all die by our own hands together if we do not change.
